Ukraine Permits Supply Of Products For Nine Dairy Companies From Belarus

The report says that the decision was made on the basis of agreements reached during a meeting of the Ukrainian-Belarusian commission held on May 3, 2012.

OJSC Rogachev milk canning plant, Mozyr Dairy Products Private Unitary Enterprise, OJSC Dairy Products, AgrocombineSnov, OJSC Savushkin Product, OJSC Berezovsky Cheese -making Plant, OJSC Babushkina Krynka, OJSC Bellakt and Schuchinsky butter-cheese factory got the right to supply products to Ukraine.

As reported, the State Veterinary and Biosecurity Service of Ukraine from March 1, 2012 temporarily suspended imports to Ukraine of milk and dairy products from Belarus, as well as animals susceptible to ASF, and products and raw materials produced from them.

On May 3, 2012, First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko and Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said after a meeting in Minsk that Belarus will soon settle the issue of the access of Ukrainian beer producers to its market, while Ukraine is lifting temporary restrictions on supplies of meat and dairy products from Belarus.
