Stacker/De-Stacker

This Stacker/De-stacker nest and de-nests trays, baskets and totes for both food and non-food industries. The machine improves productivity in a plant by saving on labor costs, meeting new ergonomic standards set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and allowing continuous through-put.

Plants that operate at high speeds usually require several people to handle trays and baskets. The simplified machine is available as either a single- or double-stack unit. The all stainless steel single unit is a low-capacity system that stacks or de-stacks approximately 500-800 totes, baskets or trays per hour, depending on dimension and shape. The double-stack machine can accommodate up to 30 trays, baskets or totes per minute. A newly designed unit for higher speeds is now also available which operates with a servo drive and can accommodate up to 50 trays or baskets per hour in one single unit.

The stacker/de-stacker can be used in the shipping and receiving area, as well as wherever trays and baskets are cleaned in the plant. The equipment also can handle baskets and trays filled with product, which makes it versatile enough to be used in the production area as well. It also can work inline with Systemate Numafa's RWM-TL Tote and Lid Washers or work in the production line where clean, empty trays, baskets or totes are used to store new product.
