Shielded Fluorescent Lamps

GE Cov-R-Guard fluorescent lamps combine the company's advanced technology options in a full offering of shatter protected lamps. The lamps are wrapped in a full 15-mil thick casing of polycarbonate plastic, which effectively contains the glass fragments and phosphors if the lamp is broken. The casement material is also UV stabilized, and the shield won't turn yellow over the life of the lamp. The lamp shield offers maximum protection with minimum light loss, keeping facilities bright and protected. The lamps are suitable for applications in grocery, food processing, semiconductor, hospitals and restaurants.
