Serac To Unveil Blow Moulding Solution For Dairy Market At Drinktec

Serac Group will unveil Combox H2F, its new blow moulding-filling-capping solution for the dairy market, at the Drinktec trade show, to be held in Munich (Germany) from 16 to 20 September 2013. Serac's innovative technology is particularly well suited to medium-size dairy-product manufacturers and lower-volume companies operating in developing countries.
Serac Group will unveil its innovative ultra-clean blow moulding-filling-capping line at the Drinktec trade show. Drinktec is due to take place in mid-September of this year in the southern German city of Munich. Serac will be on Stand A6-334 (Booth 334 in Hall A6).
Serac's solution, the Combox H2F, is specifically designed for dairy-bottle production with a volume not exceeding 12,000 bottles per hour. This innovation opens up new perspectives for lower-speed manufacturers of dairy products as they are able to blow mould bottles in house thanks to Serac's technology — something previously reserved for high-speed, high-volume manufacturers.
Ultra-clean filling is guaranteed, backed by Serac's 40 years' experience in aseptic packaging. Combox H2F, the fully integrated solution developed by Serac, incorporates a Highly Hygienic Filler (H2F) that meets the hygiene requirements of cold-chain dairy products.
As explained by the specialist company, during the machine's design phase, the focus was on integrating the company's latest aseptic filling innovations and on controlling costs. As a result, the competitive advantage offered by Serac's innovative solution can be secured at a reasonable price to the client entity.
Serac has developed an affordable blow moulding-and-filling solution. Until now, medium-sized dairy-product manufacturers had a limited choice of integrated packaging lines: on the one hand, cartons for low-speed packaging and, on the other hand, complete and integrated blow moulding-filling-capping lines that were often oversized (in terms of a medium-size operator's needs). With the Combox H2F, Serac gives medium-size players the appropriate equipment to blow mould in house.
Serac's technology relies on Polyethylene terephthalate (or PET) blow moulding, combined with rotary weight-filling machines. With over 40 years' experience in filling technology, Serac Group provides the capability that is required in order to integrate PET blow moulding with any of the company's own fillers-cappers. A unique and patented transfer system converts the sequential motion of the linear blower into a continuous motion, which is able to adapt to any Serac rotary filler.
Serac expects the Combox H2F to quickly penetrate the dairy market, as it meets the needs of developing countries using PET, as well as the low-volume and high-value-added product segments.
