The sample is contained in a sterile bag as it is being mixed, which reduces the risk of cross contamination because the samples never touch the blender. This blender is extremely useful in food quality labs when conducting bacteria tests where contamination reduction is essential.

Water-regulated models 36840-80, -82, -85, -90, and –95 are able to warm or cool the bag and sample in the blending chamber. Circulating the water in the chamber door keeps the sample temperature at the same temperature as the fluid – even during long periods of blending. This application is ideal for fragile and temperature-sensitive samples.

These blenders come with a cooling or heating circuit and two 8-mm diameter stainless steel tubing inlets.
