Near Infrared (NIR) Technology Food Gauge
The gauge is designed for measurement and control of critical parameters in food products such as moisture, fat, protein and sugars. It can be used on-line to provide process monitoring quality assurance for a wide range of products including snacks, starch, cereals, milk powders, tea, coffee, chocolate, cocoa, biscuits, potato flakes, breadcrumbs, sugar and nuts. The benefits of on-line measurement and control are available without the need for time-and resource-intensive re-calibration and maintenance procedures.
The food gauge sanitary specification features a stainless steel housing, sapphire optics and food grade seals, suitable for use with cleaning in place (CIP) routines. The gauge can be installed almost anywhere in the process line regardless of ambient temperature conditions, factory lighting levels or variations in ambient relative humidity. No physical shielding is required.
