Lucille farms & Dairylea Cooperative Enter Agreement

Lucille Farms, Inc. (Montville, NJ) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Dairylea Cooperative Inc. and Agri-Edge Development, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dairylea, to identify and create growth opportunities for Lucille and Dairylea.

Al Falivene, president of Lucille stated, "The intent of the arrangement is to use Dairylea's strong relationship with others in the dairy industry, including a number of large international businesses, to identify opportunities and positions Lucille to take advantage of those opportunities. In appropriate and selected instances, Dairylea has indicated that it will consider participating and/or investing in an alliance between Lucille and a stable third party."

Lucille farms Inc., located in Vermont, is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of conventional mozzarella cheese, provolone, feta, shredded blends and a nutritional line of products both institutional and retail sizes.
