The Greerco Model XLR Laboratory Homogenizer performs small batch mixing, blending, and dispersion

The Greerco Model XLR Laboratory Homogenizer performs small batch mixing, blending, and dispersion over a range of viscosities. Designed for product development, ingredient optimization and process simulation, the unit features a skewed turbine that continuously draws unrefined material from the bottom of the mixing vessel, forcing it to pass through the restricted stator openings for processing. It also entrains and hydrates dry powders while running in reverse operation.

Features included on the unit include a push button raise/lower mechanism and an integrated touch panel that allows the end user to program mixer speed, run time and mixing head rotation. The unit's memory function stores common mixing programs for future retrieval.

Additional Features:

  • Optional printer and computer interface
  • Brushed stainless steel enclosure
  • Self-adjusting vortex plate
  • ½ hp motor
  • 9,000 rpm
  • ¼–2 gal batch size
  • 89 lb net weight
