Hackney Ultimate refrigerated truck bodies represent the best features and benefits of both Hackney Brothers Inc. and Kidron Inc. The result of Kidron's acquisition of Hackney Brothers, the new Hackney Ultimate is ideal for delivering dairy and ice cream products, meat, seafood, frozen food, cut flowers, ice, beer and other perishable products on multi-stop routes.

Bodies from 9 to 24 feet feature smooth aluminum exterior panels or color-impregnated fiberglass sheet along with aerodynamic radius corners and rooflines. Interior lining materials include easy-to-clean fiberglass with damage-resisting wear strips on the side and front walls.

Insulated with up to 6 inches of non-CFC polyurethane foam, Hackney Ultimate bodies are designed to hold the cold down to minus 20 degrees on multi-stop routes. Available refrigeration systems include the Hackney Vari-Temp and holdover plate systems as well as conventional blower evaporator systems.
