GPD 515 Common Components

A new flexible modular design now allows the use of common components to manufacture its full-featured GPD 515 adjustable speed drive in models from 400 to 1,600 amps 460/600VAC and up to 1,500hp. Specifications for size and shape and hardware requirements for equipment such as process control panels or circuit breakers can easily be incorporated into the drive package. The desired power level is achieved by adding rectifier sections and inverter modules in parallel. The drives feature a standard non-regenerative front end and can easily support a 12-pulse configuration for reduced harmonics. The drive provides increased versatility in installations up to 1,500hp, including pumps and fans, and pulp and paper manufacturing.
