Dean Foods Names Blanchard President of Dairy Business

Dean Foods Company has appointed Eric Blanchard to succeed Thomas Ravencroft as president of its dairy segment effective immediately.

Blanchard takes over Dean's dairy business, whose annual revenues will exceed $3 billion next year, constituting 75% of the company's sales. Prior to being appointed to this position, Blanchard was secretary and general counsel, leading the company's mergers and acquisition efforts.

Dean Foods is a dairy processor and distributor, producing a full line of branded and private label products, including fluid milk, ice cream and non-dairy coffee creamers.
