Avasoft And Norse Dairy Systems Expand Avasoft Ice Cream Cartridge, Filler Machine, Production Capacity

Rocklin, CA - Avasoft, Inc., a purveyor of a patented, innovative soft-serve ice cream system to the estimated $4.4B U.S. soft-serve marketplace, recently announced that its manufacturer of Avasoft ice cream cartridges, Norse Dairy Systems (NDS), has expanded its annual cartridge production capacity, up to 24 million units, to meet Avasoft's increasing demand.

In anticipation of Avasoft's increasing 2007 production needs, Norse has invested significant capital for tooling and equipment to ensure that Avasoft's production capacity can meet demand. Under the Avasoft System patent that the Company has licensed, NDS manufactures cartridges exclusively for Avasoft's use.

NDS also manufactures and provides the equipment used to fill Avasoft cartridges with ice cream. NDS's cartridge filling equipment is placed into Avasoft partner dairies at no up-front cost to either the dairy or Avasoft. In this way Avasoft can expand its production capacity at a minimal cost.
