Anderson Instrument Co. designs and manufactures a broad line of sanitary process instrumentation for customers in Fluid Food & Beverage, Dairy, and the Biopharmaceutical Industries. By specifying Anderson products, customers are assured that their sanitary instrumentation will meet or exceed all requirements for performance, reliability, cleanability, and sterilization.
Dairy Instrumentation Product Line
The Anderson line of electronic process indicators and recorders includes both 10 inch and 12 inch circular chart recorders and recording controllers. The GL Digital Indicator offers display of different variables in any combination, and is directly compatible with any Anderson sensor.
The revolutionary AV-9000 prints trends, scales, and alpha-numeric messages on plain paper in four colors. Its unique printing technology prints all four variables in "real-time", making it the optimum solution for multi-point applications.
Dairy Level Product Line
Anderson electronic level transmitters are designed to accurately and repeatedly monitor the liquid height in a variety of process and storage vessels from a minimum height of 30 inches up to a maximum of 100 feet. Weld-in shells are available to provide a truly flush diaphragm seal with the inside wall of the tank. A special "mini" level transmitter is also available for simple level control applications in balance tanks and CIP vessels. The completely electronic "Differential" level transmitter eliminates bulky, hard to handle capillaries that in the past were a requirement on pressure or vacuum vessels. Anderson also offers a complete line of single and multiple channel micro-based level monitors which feature programmable self-points and alarm relays, as well as direct (DH+) PLC compatibility.
Dairy Temperature Product Line
Anderson offers the most comprehensive line of electronic and mechanical thermometers and sensors in the industry. From simple bimetal thermometers to sophisticated "smart" temperature transmitters, you can count on Anderson to provide the optimum solution for any application. Our MIG Reference thermometers are recognized as the de facto standard for meeting health code requirements in food processing and retort applications. The new, modular, RTD and temperature transmitter line is the only package that provides field-replaceable elements with all stainless steel parts and no exposed threads. They'll stand up in the wettest environments even where high vibration destroys competitive sensors in no time. The proven Digitherm provides an electronic alternative with a secondary RTD option that eliminates redundant process penetrations.
Dairy Pasteurization Product Line
Our ongoing commitment to providing failsafe pasteurization controls continues with our recent introduction of the revolutionary AV-9900 HTST control package. The Anderson DART remains the only proven failsafe reference thermometer for HTST, even after 8 years! And the Anderson "JD" differential pressure switch has been the de facto standard for protecting regenerators since 1983. You can count on these products to meet all health code criteria, but more importantly to insure your pasteurization process is operating safely at all times.
Dairy Pressure Product Line
Because we understand not only the sanitary requirements of these industries but also the rigors of the applications and environment, we've designed the most reliable line of gauges, indicating switches, transducers, and transmitters available. All these instruments are available with the industries widest selection of sanitary process connections. Applications include homogenizer (inlet and discharge), separators, heat exchangers, filters, pumps, fillers, surge tanks, and any other pressure dependent processes or equipment. Regardless of the application, our products will allow you to optimize your process and protect against over-pressure and under-pressure situations.
Dairy Flow Product Line
Anderson's roots in the dairy industry run long and deep. We offer the most comprehensive line of solutions that have been specifically developed for dairy processing applications. We work closely with the industry to stay ahead of changes and trends so our products will continue to help customers remain competitive. Whether you're considering a new aseptic system or targeting cost savings through lost product reductions, our products and services will always be the logical choice.
