Tuchenhagen Announces Major Breakthrough in Mixproof Valve Technology For The Dairy Industry With The 24/7 PMO Valve

Portland, ME - Tuchenhagen Flow Components, Portland, ME, recently announced the introduction of the first PMO Mixproof valve to allow 24/7 non-stop production in US Dairy plants, resulting in substantial productivity gains for US Dairy processors.

Up until today, PMO regulations have not allowed the cleaning of a mixproof valve seat while product is present in one housing of the valve. As plant production must stop for cleaning of the valve seats, the flexibility of operation and productivity benefits associated with mixproof technology has up to now been greatly reduced.

However, due to its unique patented design, the PMO seat cleaning restriction hasbeen lifted by the Regulatory Authorities for this new generation 24/7 PMO Valve from Tuchenhagen.

This new valve is the only PMO mixproof valve currently available which meets the regulatory requirements under which the seat cleaning restriction can be removed.
