Swensen's Ice Cream Parlors & Cafes Offer A Refreshing Dining Experience

Markham, ON - YF Franchise LLC, a subsidiary of International Franchise Corp., is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with D'lish Foods, LLC, a subsidiary of D'lish Brands, LLC of Westchester, Illinois, to develop Swensen's Ice Cream, I Can't Believe It's Yogurt, Ice Cream Churn and Bay Area Smoothies brands across the United States.

Founded in San Francisco in 1948, when Earle Swensen opened his first ice cream shop atop Russian Hill, selling his ice cream as "Good as Father Used to Make", the original store is still there 59 years later. Since its founding, more than 180 ice cream flavors have been created and combined in a multitude of sundae formats with exciting toppings that are enjoyed by both young and old.

Today, with over 300 parlors and cafes around the world, Swensen's Ice Cream is ready to embark on its mission; to bring back the "ice cream parlor" memory with a vibrant exciting new store design. Swensen's Ice Cream is ready for new growth in the United States and is looking forward to positioning itself as a place where customers can spend quality leisure time with their family and friends while enjoying great food and desserts, at a place "where happiness never melts".

D'lish Foods, LLC has begun to offer multi unit and single unit agreements across the United States. With 135 existing franchised and licensed stores, D'lish is now offering a Swensen's Ice Cream concept that includes Swensen's Ice Cream, I Can't Believe It's Yogurt and Bay Area Smoothies in two formats...parlor and cafe. The first new Swensen's Ice Cream Parlor will open in Atlanta Airport, D Terminal in November 2007.

"We look forward to expanding our Swensen's Ice Cream parlor and parlor-cafe concept nationwide across the American landscape with our local partners D'lish Foods, LLC", said Aaron Serruya, President, YF Franchise LLC. "Swensen's is enjoyed all over the world and continues to win the award every year as San Francisco's favourite ice cream".
