The lifting attachment uses a frame of box section stainless steel for structural stability.

The lifter incorporates an actuator to grip the core of the roll, with a detachable pin, which is mounted to the side of the lifter.

The actuator and pin can be moved away from the roll when it is in the horizontal position on the rotating tray. This allows the operator to move the tray into the necessary position for unloading onto a mandrel or processing machinery, for example.

The actuator is controlled using a remote control pendant, as is the lift and lower mechanism of the lifter.
