Esterform Packaging Launches A New Range Of 38mm PET Preforms

As part of its investment in injection moulding capabilities, Esterform is developing its range of PET preforms. The new 38mm range offers flexibility between 16.5gm and 54gm which will be suitable for bottle capacities from 150ml to 2000ml.

(PRWEB UK) - As part of the current £8m program of investment at Esterform Packaging Ltd, the Tenbury Well based manufacturer of PET preforms and containers is broadening its 38mm UCS preform range.

The expansion of the current range recognises the increased usage of the wide mouth format commonly seen in the juice and dairy markets.

Esterform has recently commissioned the first of its new injection moulding equipment at its specialist preform site in Leeds. It is this new equipment that will provide the manufacturing basis for the new range.

Mark Tyne, Director at Esterform commented “It is essential to react to the opportunities in the market place. Esterform sees the expanding use of the 38mm neck format and has decided to invest in it, this combined with our new 1881 PCO tooling demonstrates our commitment to being the industry's supplier of choice.”

Esterform which returned to private ownership in March 2014, has recently acquired competitor Constar UK, and has embarked on a multimillion pound program of investment both in its injection moulding and blow moulding capabilities.
